Yi Lu is a senior double majoring in French and history. His senior thesis focuses on the labor history of the Kunming-Haiphong Railway. His thesis advisor is Professor Jerry Dennerline of the History and Asian Languages and Civilizations Departments.
Professor Martin A. Medina Elizalde is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology. He holds a B.S. from the Univ. from Southern Baja California, a M.S. in Center of Research and Advanced Studies in Mexico and a Ph.D from the Univ. of California, Santa Barbara.

Assistant Professor of History Vanessa Walker received her B.A. from Whitman College. She got her M.A. and Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has published work on 1970s human rights movements and is currently working on a book about human rights policies in the 1970s.
