The Amherst women’s track and field team traveled to Boston University for Valentine Invitational — their last regular season meet of the winter — last Friday afternoon, where they performed well amongst a talented pool of Division I, II and III schools, as well as independent and semi-professional runners.

In the sprint events, first-year Julia Asin finished in a team-high 140th place in the 200-meter dash, among 237 other women competitors, with a time of 26.83 seconds. Senior Victoria Hensley finished close behind, coming in at 27.43 seconds, placing her in 173rd place.
