After three dual meets, the men’s swim team remains undefeated at 6-0 while the women stay strong at 5-1.

Women

The Jeffs defeated Middlebury in fine form on Saturday, with both teams remaining undefeated. The men’s team was particularly dominant, winning all 16 events.

Highlight: Co-captain Ryan Lichtenfels ’12 was one of three Jeff men to win two events. He finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.02, and edged out fellow captain Tim White ’12 in the 500 free by .14 seconds.

Women

The swimming and diving teams kicked off their season with dominant wins over Colby and Wesleyan. The first-year class had a spectacular debut, winning a number of events.

The men’s team earned a 179-94 victory over the Mules on the Nov. 19. The combination of Conor Deveney ’15, Ben McBratney ’12, Tyler Bulakul ’14 and Tim White ’12 won the 200-yard medley relay by over four seconds. The Jeffs took first and second place in the 200 free relay to close out the meet.

The swimming and diving teams are coming an very impressive season. The men’s team posted a perfect 8-0 dual meet record and placed second in the NESCAC finals with a program-high score of 1,614.5, while the women’s team was the NESCAC runner-up for the sixth time in the past 10 years. The women placed ninth in the NCAA finals, which was their ninth consecutive top-10 finish, and the men came in sixth for their fourth consecutive top-10 finish.
